Urban Water Supply Scheme Jacobabad
     
 
     
         
 
The main aim of this project was to provide drainage facilities to about 1.63 million acres of land on right bank of Indus under command of Sukkur and Guddu barrages. Cost
of project was 7.35 million US$. Total length of these two sections was 18.512 km. The structures of both links included 5xbridges, 5xaqueducts, 8xwater crossings, 16x
inlet structures and 24x catch water drains. This project was completed in Jun 2003
     
Clean and clear water was a long awaited commodity for
residents of ancient city of Jacobabad. FWO has under
taken the work with missionary zeal and enthusiasm.
Project encompasses laying of 90 KM long steel pipes from
Kithara Canal to Jacobabad city with storage capacity of
6 MGD.

ogy (NUST) Campus Sector H-12 Islamabad

Development works of NUST Campus -12 were awarded
to FWO in Jun 2005. The total cost of this project was
4.38 Million US$. The project included roads, water
supply system, sewerage and drainage system for the NUST
campus and accommodation for its employees. The project
was completed in April 2008.
     
FWO has executed majority of Infrastructure development
of Defence Housing Schemes at Karachi. Its include
construction of roads / bridges, laying of water supply and
sewerage system.
     
Al-Shifa Trust sponsored this project. It is a hundred bedded hospital with 8 operation theatres and total covered area of 10,634 Sq M. Project was completed in September 2004.
 
                     
                     
 
IslamabadConstruction of Lakpass Tunnel
             
 
                 
 
FWO took lead in the feld of tunnelling road works by undertaking BOT project of National Highway Authority (NHA). The Project is located on the National Highway N-25 about 27 Kilometers from Quetta. The project was assigned
to FWO in Jun 2006. The length of the tunnel is 180 M with an approach road of 5.05 KM.

Karachi Port Trust underpass project was awarded to FWO in Dec 2004 and was completed in October 2005. This was the frst underpass in Karachi and played a big role in reducing congestion in centre of cosmopolitan city.
     
Rahim Abad Flyover project was awarded to FWO
in February 2007. The fyover was opened for general
traffc in October 2009. It has played a major role in
streamlining traffc congestion on one of the busiest
artery of Rawalpindi.
     
Shalimar Interchange was assigned to FWO on 14 August 2008 with an estimated cost of 23.68
million US$. It includes construction of one fyover, two underpasses, 2 ground level bridges
and 11km service road. It has been completed and opened for traffc on 1 Jan 2010. It has
improved the city’s traffc fow, it connects the main city with cantonment through the fyover
and converts the canal bank road into a fast moving signal free corridor.
 
                     
                     
 
Dualization of Railway Track from Lodhran to
Khanewal via Multan
           
 
                 
 
Dualization of RailwayTrack from Lodhran to Khanewal via Multan was awarded to FWO in May 2003. Previously most
of the trains used to bypass Multan, and people of Multan were deprived of availing the facility of important trains. The
heavy load of the trains have been distributed and the speed of the trains have increased due to new railway track. The
total length of the track is 119 KM.
                 
                     
                     
 
Fiber Optic Connec tivity Wateen Long Haul Project
             
 
                 
 
FWO was awarded this project by Wateen Telecom in
Nov 2005. This project is spread over Northern Areas,
NWFP, Punjab Baluchistan and Sindh. Total length of
project was 5427 KM of Optic Fiber Cable nation wide
with cost of 26.27 Million US$. It was completed in July
