Detailed Narrative Description of the Project:

Jaglot – Skardu is a major link between KKH and Skardu.FWO has the privilege of its initial track construction which was completed in 1984. Length of road is 164 Km having 3.66 Meter width of black top. The difficult terrain has intense snow fall and major rock sliding. Now, the upgradation of Jaglot - Skardu, road will enhance the comfortable road ride to locals as well as tourist by increasing the width of road from 3.6 to 7.3 meter and reducing the sharp curves. Road width of 97 Km has been complete. The project is likely to be completed before stipulated time (Sep 21).
